Connie Marrs

Connie Jolene Marrs was born on August 5, 1943 and passed away on August 13, 2018 in New Braunfels, Texas. Connie loved her family and spending quality time playing games, reading, sewing, gardening, crafts, attending her great-grandchildren's school plays and sports events, and cooking all her new recipes from her favorite cooking shows. She was very involved in her church and spreading the word of God. She loved her church family and enjoyed visiting with friends. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Leon Marrs, her parents and her siblings. Connie is survived by her sons; Mark A. Marrs and wife, Monika, Gary D. Marrs; daughter, Laura A. Schulmeier and husband, Kenneth; grandchildren, Allen Marrs and wife, Dakota, Daniel Marrs and wife, Kristen, Dusty Watts and husband, Scott, Sean Goodspeed and wife, Hailey, Kristy McKenzie and husband, Mike, Justin Schulmeier and wife, LaRee; great-grandchildren, Brentley Marrs, Ethan Marrs, Liliana Gonzales, Elijah Gonzales, Madison Gonzales, Henry Watts, Austin McKenzie, Alyssa McKenzie, Hunter Schulmeier, River Schulmeier and numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 6:00PM - 9:00PM. Funeral Service will be at 12:30PM, Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Cibolo Valley Baptist Church, 5500 FM 1103 Cibolo, Texas, with the interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
