Concepcion Cruz

Concepcion Camarillo Cruz of Kirby, Texas passed away on September 12, 2012, at the age of 75. He was born December 7, 1936 to Anastacio Cruz, Jr. and Maria Del Refugio C. Cruz in Marion, Texas. Concepcion was a devoted husband and loving father who enjoyed traveling and camping with his family and friends. During retirement, he enjoyed attending his grandchildrens many activities, NASCAR events, and family functions. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amanda Rose Boyle, and his brother, Manuel Cruz. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Rosie; daughter, Carmen Cruz; son, Carlos Cruz and his wife, Lorie; grandchildren, Victor Boyle, Phoebe Boyle, Christopher Cruz, Samuel Boyle, and Daniel Boyle. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 14, 2012, at Schertz Funeral Home, from 5:00PM until 9:00PM, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00PM. The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 2829 Ackerman Rd., Kirby, Texas 78219, at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Selma Cemetery #1.
