Clyde Vickrey

January 31, 1937 — June 5, 2015

Our beloved father and grandfather, Clyde Franklin Vickrey, born on January 31, 1937, passed away on June 5, 2015, at the age of 78. His wife, Calinda Ann Vickrey, preceded him in death. Survivors include his sons, Alan Vickrey and his wife, Cathy, and Gregg Vickrey and his wife, Sally; daughters, Melinda Lee and her husband, Jerry, Michelle Vickrey, and Chelaine Vickrey; brothers, Clifford and Gene Vickrey; sisters, Alice Dodd, Nadine Henson, and Zelma Stephan; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, longtime friends, and colleagues. A Celebration of Clyde's Life will take place on Friday, June 12, 2015, at 2:00PM, at Schertz Funeral Home. Pastor Vernon Welshans officiating. All services will conclude in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made in Clyde's name to a charity of your choice.
