Clinton Johnson

Clinton "Ray" Johnson passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 in Live Oak, Texas at the age of 89. He was born on August 27, 1929 in Bellville, Texas to parents Andrew and Frances Johnson.

After serving his country in the United States Army, Ray began working for Raba-Kistner in 1968. After 32 years, he retired in 2000. Not only hardworking, Ray was also a devoted family man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sports. Often times, Ray could be found cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs or talking to his television while watching his favorite game shows.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Frances Johnson; sons, Darrell C. Johnson and Kenneth R. Johnson; one brother and three sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dorothy R. Johnson; grandchildren, Darrell C. Johnson, Jr., Tara Monk with husband Les; great-grandson, Jacob K. Monk; former daughter-in-law, Debbie Westmoreland; dog, Jake, as well as numerous other family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 1:00PM - 3:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home.
