Clifford Patton

Clifford M Patton Jr 83, beloved husband, father and grandfather, went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2022. He was surrounded by family at the time of his passing and forever will be treasured.

Cliff is survived by his wife of 63 years Patricia, daughter Cindy Moffit who passed on January 4. His son Sheldon Patton and his wife Mary, daughter Sherri Albert and her husband Kyle and son Steven Patton. Grandchildren Ashley Butler and husband Chase, Emiley De La Garza and Morgan Moffitt. Great grandchildren Jack, Truett, Elizabeth Butler and Isabella De La Garza.

Cliff grew up in a military family, he was the second of eleven children. The family moved often and resided in many places around the United States and Panama. Cliff joined the Air Force in 1957 and served his country in Vietnam in 1961-62.

Without a doubt, his greatest joy was being with his family. One of the last things he said before passing was to tell his great granddaughter “I love you”. In addition to the joy he got from his family he enjoyed fishing, watching sports and going to the casinos.

A graveside service to celebrate his wonderful life will be held on January 12 at 1PM at Westhill Cemetery in Sherman Texas.
