Claudyne Thompson

Claudyne Thompson peacefully departed this earth to be with God on January 6, 2017. She is adoringly survived by her husband of 68.5 years, Carl Thompson. She is lovingly survived by her son Lee Thompson and wife Tricia Thompson. She leaves behind two beautiful granddaughters, Jacquelyn and Rachael Thompson.

Claudyne was an incredible woman. Born January 26, 1928, she was a woman who radiated class, love, grace and fun. She was incredibly devoted to her husband and family, loving them with all she had. She loved to travel, experiencing new places and adventures. She loved to cook, filling all she met with love through her cooking. A voracious reader and storyteller, she regaled all that knew her with her life adventures. She greeted all that she met with love and kindness, never knowing a stranger. She was truly a one of a kind woman who will be dearly missed.

The funeral will take place at Schertz Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 . The viewing will be at 6pm with a service beginning at 7pm .
