Claude Hugh Smith, Jr. entered into rest January 15, 2010. Claude was born in Springfield, Illinois on August 23, 1931. He is survived by his wife Margie and son Brian and his wife Sherry, granddaughters Delaine and Brooke. Also survived by granddaughter Tanya, the daughter of Terry, Claudes brothers William and Charles, and sister Shirley Mollenkopf. Visitation will be held Tuesday January 19, 2010 at Schertz Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Graveside Service being held Wednesday January 20, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
