Christyl Bell

Christyl Dalene Bell, our dearly beloved daughter, sister, mother and friend, went to be with our Lord on December 9, 2011. She was born in San Diego County, CA, on September 26, 1979, to parents, Timothy Earl Bell and Patricia (Patte) Milligan Bell. In June, 1988, the Bell family had grown to six and returned to San Antonio, TX, where Christyl developed into a stunning woman who was vibrant, funny, intelligent, spirited, and deeply passionate in every way. Among her many talents were singing and dancing with a keen ear for music and heart for lyrics. She expressed her amazing taste in fashion and dcor, exuded joy of living with great humor, and often bestowed upon us, her deep and articulate conversation. Endearing herself to her friends and family, she continually showered others with generous giving and intense compassion, a spiritual gifting from her Father God, which guided her to become an exceptional, wise Registered Nurse. She served in the Army with deep conviction and love for her country. She is survived by her ten year old daughter, Laurel Grace, whom has always been her heart and her angel baby; mother, Patte Bell, sister, Tiesha Bell and her children, Jarrett, Emily Kay, Tanner and Truett; brother, Joseph Bell with wife, Carla, and children, Taylor and Aubrey; brother, Jeffrey Bell with his girlfriend, Kari Pastrano and Papaw, Dale Milligan. We know her father, Timothy, was present to meet her in glory, as he went to be with our Lord January 13, 2011. Numerous extended family and friends with deep love and appreciation for her, grieve in the loss of her precious life. Within a short time after learning her mother had passed, Laurel Grace so aptly gushed, Mommys going to make heaven Sparkle! And sparkle she didshe is a rare jewel. Come celebrate her life. Family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 18, 2011 and again from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Monday, December 19, 2011 at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 PM on Monday at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. If you so desire, the family requests that memorial donations may be made in Christyls memory to her daughter, Laurel Grace Neuhaus.
