Christopher Allen Alvarez, age 25, passed away on February 22, 2012. He was born on May 1, 1986 in Seguin, Texas. Chris entered a room with a smile, the newest electronic gadget, and two words- IM AWESOME. He loved making people laugh, playing poker, watching football and basketball, and more than all of those " he loved his mom and dad. He is survived by his parents Terry and Gilbert Alvarez; brother Gilbert Alvarez, Jr., and wife Sherri; sister Alexis Alvarez and brother-in-law Nick Soto; his love Brittany Kjos; nieces Alyssa, Jordan, Madison and nephew Aiden; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Julian Rodriguez, Alice Monsivais, and Marcelino Alvarez; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his beloved dog, BJ. He will be greatly missed and is joyously loved and remembered by his family and friends. Visitation will be held at Schertz Funeral Home and Crematory from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on February 27, 2012 with a Celebration Service from 7:00PM to 9:00PM Dream as youll live forever, live as if youll die today.
