Christine Santos
November 24, 1971 — June 4, 2009
Christine Claire (Guebard) Santos said goodbye to this earthly life and went to be with her Lord on June 4, 2009. She was born in Biloxi, MS on November 24, 1971. Her true passion was culinary arts. After graduating from Vo-Tech high school in Las Vegas, NV, she went to the Walt Disney World Culinary Institute in Orlando, FL, where she honed her talents. She then moved back to Las Vegas in 1994, where she became a chef at the MGM Grand Hotel working for Emeril Lagasse. She met her husband, Paul, in Las Vegas and they were married in 2002. In 2004, Christine and Paul moved to back to Texas and resided in Bulverde, TX. She was a wonderful wife and daughter and a loving mom to Louie. Everyone who knew her knew that she had a fire about her that lit up a room when she entered. Her cooking skills were second to none. We believe that God needed a new chef in Heaven and called Christine. She is survived by her husband Paul Santos, parents Jerry and Donna Guebard (Schertz, TX), brother Robert Guebard and his wife Sandra (South Lake Tahoe, CA), brother Brandon Guebard and his wife Kimberly (Rio Medina, TX), grandmother Bernadine Guebard (Fort Wayne, IN), father-in-law and mother-in-law Andrew and Cathie Santos (Sacramento, CA), sister-in-law Anita Autore and her husband Dave (Turlock, CA), sister-in-law Karen Feighner and her husband Keith (Elk Grove, CA) and brother-in-law Mike and his wife Cerissa (Sacramento, CA). Visitation will be at Schertz Funeral Home, Schertz, TX from 4:00pm " 7:00pm on Sunday, June 7, 2009. Rosary will be Monday, June 8, 2009 at 1:30pm at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church " Honey Creek in Spring Branch, TX (Highway 46). Funeral Mass will follow at 2:00pm. Donations in lieu of flowers to St. Josephs Catholic Church " Honey Creek.
