Christine Clara Coffman, age 16, passed away on April 2, 2010 after a sudden illness. Christine, aka Teeny, was born March 8, 1994 in San Antonio, TX. A Sophomore at James Madison High School, she was in the Agri-Science Magnet Program and played flute in the Marching Band. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and Hybrid Youth Group at All Nations Church. Preceded in death by great grandmother Dorothy Cook, and grandfather Ralph Coffman. Surviving family includes parents Tommy Joe Coffman and Ann T. Coffman, grandparents Clara June Coffman, and William and Florence Lawson, sisters Shanha and husband Jordan Goodwyn, Kelly and Ryan Daly, Kerrie Coffman, and Katherine Ann Coffman, aunts and uncles Kenny and wife Kelly Coffman, Dennis and wife Terri Coffman, Jane and husband Roy Whitlock, Rita Lawson, Mark Lawson, Gary Lawson, and Steve Lawson, nieces Kassidy and Kelsey Bradshaw, Kamillia Stiles and Robin Goodwyn, cousins Kolton, Kyle, and Karlee Coffman, and Samuel and Clarissa Whitlock. Visitation on Wednesday April 7 from 5 PM to 9 PM at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Services on Thursday April 8 at 12:30 PM at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel, followed by burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in memory of Christine to the Christus Santa Rosa Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
