Chris Leeman Jones, 67, passed away at his home on Friday, June 28, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on October 20, 1945 in Marshall, Texas. His parents were Oliver & Francis Jones. Chris worked as a mortician at multiple funeral homes in the state of Texas, City Service in Longview, Texas, City Service Jayhawk Plant in Satanta, Kansas, and in his retirement earned a massage therapy license. Chris married Beverly Koenig-Jones in August 2011. He is survived by his wife Beverly, children, and grandchildren: David & Tricia (children: Cole & Hattie) Jones of Nashville, Tennessee; Daniel & Rachel (children: Tanner & Bethany) Jones of Guymon, Oklahoma; Tim & Cathy (children: Faolan & Kiera) Jones of Manhattan, Kansas; and Leeceil & Sosten Rivale of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Chris enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending time with family and friends. A memorial service will be held in Longview, Texas on October 20, 2013. All who knew Chris are welcome to attend the memorial service and are asked to contact family members for specific details.
