Chris Houser

Chris Harrison Houser, age 59 of San Antonio, TX, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012. Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly M. (Raybourn) Houser. He is survived by his loving wife, Becky; father, Eddie T. Houser; children, Jennifer Hicks & husband, David of Frisco, TX and Ty Houser of San Antonio; grandchildren, Harrison, Hudson and Hayden Hicks and Matthew, Abigail and Chris Houser; brothers, Larry and Mike Houser; sister, Jamie Buckner; mother-in-law Jean Cannon; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Wanda Mangum; and numerous nieces and nephews. Chris was a loving husband, father and son. Known as E-Z by his grandchildren, Chris was a good man, a Christian and a loyal friend to everyone. Chris was an avid outdoorsman and loved golf. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 27, 2012 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Per the wishes of the family, interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Childrens Building Fund at Oakwood Baptist Church in 2154 Loop 337 N, New Braunfels, Texas 78130.
