Cheri Tillman

Cheri Ione Tillman, age 73, of Schertz Texas, passed away 26 July 2023 at Legacy at Forest, Ridge in Schertz, Texas.
Cheri was born 26 April 1951 to Everett Huisenga and Ardola Jenssen in Sac City Iowa. On 11 July 1970, Cheri was united in marriage to Clinton Tillman in Storm Lake Iowa. Cheri was a proud military spouse and part of the family readiness group for years. The military took them many places and she made many lifelong friends. She enjoyed meeting, new people, gardening, cooking and going to church. Cheri and Clinton celebrated 53 years of marriage just a few weeks ago. Cheri loved her family and friends and enjoy spending as much time as possible with them. She will truly be missed by all that new her.

Cheri is preceded in death by her parents Everett and Ardola Huisenga; grandparents Reinhard and Francis Janssen, Wibbo and Dena Huisenga; Sister Deana Lewis; Brother-in-law law Ken Huckins; and her beloved dogs: Halie and Maggie.

Cheri is survived by her husband Clinton Tillman; children China Duchesne (Kirk), Chana Wilson (Marc), Chad Tillman; grandchildren Lamont and Carrie Sams, Jiovoni(Kirk) and Summer Duchesne, Noemi Duchesne, Nalanie Williams, Mikaylie and Charles Stinson, Isaiah Flippin, Elijah Tillman, Zaniah Tillman, great grandchildren Sophiah Jones, Araceli Perez, Olivia and Jillien Sams, Nevaeh Callier, Alina Duchesne, Melodi and Kimora Stinson; siblings: Lary Huisenga, Lanny/Deb Huisenga, Kay Huckins, Lynn Huisenga, Lonnie Huisenga; and Cheri’s beloved Bella, the mini Yorkie/Schnauzer mix.
