Charlotte Swetz

Charlotte Dawn Swetz, 83, of San Antonio, TX, passed away on April 20, 2016, at Coronado Rehab Facility while recovering from surgery. Charlotte was born in Vesper, WI, on Aug. 30, 1932, to Viola and Wilbur Winch. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1950. Charlotte married Lawrence (Larry) in 1952, and together they had four children, Cynthia (Gary) Granroos, Gregory (Daniela) Swetz, David (Renee) Swetz, and Michelle (Tom) Kizewski, while tirelessly supporting her husband during his service with the US Air Force. Charlotte is survived by her husband, children, and grandchildren, Laura Swetz; Crystal (Swetz) and Michael Rommen; Sarah (Swetz) and Chuck Huang; Austin Swetz; Adam (Burcu) Kizewski; Shaun (Amber) Kizewski; great-grandchildren Kristina and Kaden Kizewski; Ellie Grace and Eli James Kizewski; and Tobias Rommen; siblings Dolores (Winch) Burr, Margaret (Winch) Dix, Judith (Winch) Palmateer, Maurice Winch, and William Winch, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gladys (Winch) Scheiderer. Charlotte will long be remembered by those who love her for her gentle manner and loving devotion to her family. Memorial services were held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help church in Selma, Texas, on April 25, 2016. Burial was held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery on April 27, 2016.
