Charles Wallace

Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather: Charles (Chuck) M. Wallace passed away on August 24, 2012. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on January 21, 1938. Chuck joined the U.S. Air Force and served in Okinawa and Vietnam in hospital administration. He retired from Brooks Air Force Base. He then was employed at Southwest Research Institute in the nuclear division. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and an infant son. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dixie Dee, two daughters: Kellie Shivitz (Scott) and Kim Galloway (Chris), three grandchildren: Hayden and Kenzie Shivitz and Ryland Galloway, one brother Edward Wallace (Dorothy) of Palm Coast, FL, two sisters: Sylvia Farmer (Ira) of Spring Hill, FL, Jackie Bradshaw (Greg) of Cincinnati, OH, Donna of Cincinnati, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Del Rio, TX, on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at 11:00 AM at the Masonic Cemetery at the end of West 2nd Street. Memorials may be made to Hope Hospice or to the charity of your choice.
