Charles Troyer

Charles Chuck Conrad Troyer passed away on October 20, 2013 at the age of 72 in his home in Cibolo, TX. Charles is preceded in death by his father, William Warren Troyer, mother, Novella Ellen Downen, sister, Audrey Troyer and daughter, Teresa Faye Troyer. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Judy Byington Troyer; siblings, Louise, Lawrence, Beverly, and Kathy; children; Jeffery, Dorinda and her husband Larry Jones, grandchildren; Stefany Ashton-Flowers and Douglas Charles Ashton, great-grandchildren; Marc Anthony Ashton, James Wesley Flowers, Elliana Lea Flowers and Danielle Kimber Flowers and several loving nephews and nieces. TSGT Charles Troyer served our U.S. Air Force for 20 years as an aircraft mechanic. During his 2nd career he work as a diesel and auto mechanic. He could build anything out of wood and also built computers. He enjoyed model building, fishing and boating. Charles claimed to be a jack of all trades and a master of none. To Charles, family came first and his pets were his babies. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 29th at 9:30am at The Schertz Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow with full military honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:15AM.
