Charles Spencer, Jr.

October 24, 1953 — April 6, 2021

Charles Thomas Spencer Jr. entered into eternal peace on April 6, 2021, with his loving family by his side in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 67. Charles, known by many as Tom, was born on October 24, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas. Tom spent most of his life living in St. Louis, Missouri, which will always be known as home. He graduated from Kirkwood Senior High School and Saint Louis University, enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family and friends, shooting sporting clays and was passionate about his work. Tom was a self-less, caring and loving husband, father, brother, uncle and son. Tom bravely battled kidney cancer for nearly six years, with no complaints to be had. He fought with all his might and will be terribly missed by his wife of 38 years, Dede, his son Dr. Charles Thomas Spencer III (Rebecca), his daughter Allison Spencer-Adderley (D’Angelo), his brother Richard Andrew Spencer (Elaine), his dear cousin Teri Boon (Eddie), Will Boon, many in-laws, nieces and nephews, as well as his furry four-legged children, Bogart and Baby. He will be reunited in Heaven with his father, Charles Thomas Spencer Sr. and his mother, Billie Jean Spencer.

A sincere thank you to all of the family and friends who have prayed for Tom over the years and provided support in many different ways, including Dr. Rohit Kapoor and team.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his colleagues at INSURICA for their compassion and support over the years.

Memorial services will be held in St. Louis, Missouri at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
