Charles Buford Sharpe, born on August 31, 1930, in Buffalo, Alabama, passed away on August 25, 2015, in San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Otis and Fannie May Sharpe; 5 brothers; and 3 sisters. Charles is survived by his loving wife, Sally Sharpe; son, Ronald Charles Sharpe and wife Kathy; daughter, Brenda Sheryl Skeldon and husband Timothy "Tim"; grandchildren, Kimberly Bernhardt, Kyle Sharpe, Kevin Sharpe, Timothy Skeldon, Jr., and Sally Allsbrook; and 11 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 31, 2015, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at 9:30 AM, at Schertz Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that any donations be made to a charity of your choice.
