Charles Nichols

Charles R. Nichols went to dwell in the house of the Lord on October 28, 2017 at the age of 87, where he was reunited with his wife, Joyce Irene Schwartz Nichols and their oldest son Charles Thomas (Tom) and grandson, Mark Andrew. Charles was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, and graduated from Brackenridge High School in 1947. He worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad as a station agent in Mathis, TX for 20 years before going into various national sales positions. Charles is survived by his sons, Richard (Rick) and wife Mary Ann and Larry; daughter, Diane and husband Al Lopez; grandchildren, Kaci, Clay, Michelle and Kristin; great-grandchildren, Carson, Landon, Maxwell and Malia. His wish is to be cremated and his ashes put with his beloved wife Joyce at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Marion, TX. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 3:00PM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel.
