Charles Myers Iii

June 4, 1951 — May 20, 2013

Lt Col Charles Stafford Charlie Myers III, United States Air Force, (Ret.) born on June 4, 1951, went to be with our Lord on May 20, 2013, at the age of 61. Charlie served as a career Air Force Officer for 28 years and was a veteran of conflicts in Vietnam and the Mideast. Currently he was a Great Clips franchisee and enjoyed hiking, playing golf, and being near the water. His grandson, Henry Turmelle, and his parents, MSgt Charles S. Myers II and Marilyn Myers, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Marinell; stepson, Zachary Turmelle and his wife, Emily; sister, Cheryl Muffett and her husband, Brad; brother, Steve Myers and his wife, Scochie; nieces, Shannon Marques and Jamie Stevenson and her husband, Matthew; nephew, Christopher Muffett; grandniece, Mackenzie Marques. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013, at 2:00PM, at St. Margarets Episcopal Church, 5310 Stahl Road, San Antonio, Texas 78247, with the Rev. Philip Cunningham officiating. All services will conclude at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Margarets Episcopal Church Building Fund.
