Cathi Cecconi

December 9, 1949 — July 26, 2011

Cathi M. Cecconi (Midtling), age 61 of Bulverde, TX, passed away on July 26, 2011. Cathi is preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Mary Midtling. She is survived by her husband, Edward A. Cecconi; daughter, Lisa Fox & husband, Chris; son, Edward A. Cecconi II; brother, Donald Midtling & wife, Mary and three grandchildren, Chelsey, John J.T. and Steven. Since her early childhood, Cathi loved music and singing with her girlfriends. During 40 years of marriage, she was a military wife, which allowed her to enjoy the benefits of traveling and shopping from Korea to Europe. Throughout her life, she had a generous spirit with her family and friends. After retirement, she nestled in the hill country surrounding her self in nature while feeding her beloved birds and other wildlife. Her strength, courage and determination were never more evident than during the last five years while battling lung cancer. She left our world peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family and friends. We love you and will miss you forever. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Monday, August 1, 2011 at Schertz Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Lung Cancer Alliance, P.O.
