Cassandra Kontogeorgis

November 26, 1962 — May 31, 2019

On the evening of May 31, 2019, Cassandra Kontogeorgis went home to be with her Mother. Cassandra was born on November 25, 1962, in Corpus Christi, TX and she lived a rough and adventurous life. She was the daughter of two merchant marines, Beverly Ann Stewart Thomas and Dimitrios Kontogeorgis, and was raised to be a strong, independent woman that would eventually become the matriarch of her family after her Mother's passing in 1994. She devoted the majority of her work life to retail sales and management and loved forming supportive relationships with her co-workers, mentoring them along the way. In the end, she will always be remembered by her beautiful smile and her infectious laugh that will be treasured for eternity. Cassandra was preceded in death by her Mother, Beverly Ann Stewart Thomas and her Father, Dimitrios Kontogeorgis. She is survived by her Brothers, Mark Watson, Jimmy Gore, Hadley and Rory Thomas, Sister Eleni Kontogeorgis, Son Chad Kontogeorgis, Daughter Merry Kontogeorgis, Nephew Dimitrios Watson, Austin and Tierney Thomas, Nieces, Sydney and Domanika Watson, and Granddaughters Kyrie and Kimberly Kontogeorgis. She will be forever cherished and her laugh will echo throughout eternity.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Schertz Funeral Home.
