Casper Young

August 28, 1918 — March 14, 2008

Casper Joseph Young of Abilene, Texas, formerly of Santa Clara, Texas, was born in Celestine, Indiana on August 28, 1918 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 14, 2008. Mr. Young is survived by his loving wife, Beulah Mae Young; three children, Richard A. Young of Huntington Beach, CA, Phyllis I. Whisler of Merkle, TX, and Patricia A. Stevenson of Avery, TX; grandchidren, Robert T. Young, John I. Young, Charles F. Schwab, Kimberly C. Whisler, Amanda Castelija, and Eric L. Stevenson and six great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Monday, March 17, 2008 from 5-9 PM with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 10:00 AM in the Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will be in the Holy Cross Mausoleum.
