Carolyn Hrncir

Mrs. Carolyn J. Hrncir passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 85. She was born on September 10, 1927 to the late Thomas and Leocadia (Foegelle) Janysek of Runge, Texas. Carolyn is survived by her children, Karen Cavazos (John), Deborah Kosub (John) and Donald Hrncir (Laura); grandchildren, Christina and Brittany Cavazos, Eric and Alan Kosub, Daniel and David Hrncir and Jared and John Gutierrez; sisters, Frances Kyrish, Pauline John and Louise Jurgajtis; brothers, William Janysek and Fabian Janysek; and numerous nieces and nephews. Carolyn is preceded in death by her late husbands; Robert Kyrish and Daniel Hrncir; sisters, Eleanor Krawietz and Elizabeth Kustusz; and daughter, Kathy Gutierrez. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00PM on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Schertz Funeral Home with a Rosary being recited at 7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Holy Cross Mausoleum Chapel with entombment following. Memorial contributions may be made to "The Seraphic Sisters", 130 Beethoven Ave, San Antonio, TX, 78210 or to the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the Sisters and Staff at St. Francis Nursing Home for the wonderful care given while Carolyn was a resident there.
