Carolyn Fulton

February 2, 1935 — January 8, 2015

Carolyn Sue Fulton passed away on January 8, 2015. She is fondly remembered as a happy, kind and loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Born in Tyler Texas to William Clark and Mary Jane Mallory on February 2, 1935, her family settled in Baytown where she graduated from Robert E Lee High. After marrying her soul mate, she later moved to the San Antonio area where she raised her sons on the love of God, music and good home cooked food. Singing and playing the ukulele and organ with her family and friends was one of her most precious enjoyments. A song that all friends and family will remember is "Froggie went a Courtin". She loved to garden and work with her husband on every improvement project undertaken. She was a devoted member of the Unity Church of San Antonio and enjoyed singing in the choir. Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband William Ray Fulton and son Wade Clark Fulton. She is survived by her son William "Dana" Fulton, 3 grandsons Chris, Aaron and Levi, her brothers Jimmy and Sid Mallory and their families, 2 great-grandchildren Camryn and Caleb, extended family members and numerous friends. A visitation will be held Friday, January 23, 2015 at 8:30AM, with a funeral service to begin at 10:00AM at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Following interment, there will be a reception at the Garden Ridge Community Center.
