Carol Mayne

June 24, 1957 — November 20, 2013

Carol Sue Mayne went to be with the Lord on November 20, 2013. She had a brief bout of cancer that took her quickly. Carol was born on June 24, 1957 in Harlingen, Texas. Carol loved fall and winter. Those were her favorite times of the year. She loved fall colors, and she loved to decorate for the holidays. She also loved to bake goodies for everyone. Caro l loved to give gifts, and make sure everyone had what they needed. It did not matter if it was food, shelter, or just a shoulder to cry on. She was there. Carol will be dearly missed, but she will never be forgotten. Carol was a special person in her own way. She was preceded in death by her father, Philip (Roy) Mayne. Carol is survived by her mother, Ruby Mayne of Schertz, Texas; sister, Ruth Mayne Kinsey and husband, Steve of Schertz, Texas. She is also survived by her nephews, Dudley (Gene) Milstead and Clifton (Cliff) Milstead of Schertz, Texas. Carol is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In honor of her memory, we are having a Thanksgiving Celebration of Life dinner on Thanksgiving Day.
