Carol Joyce Linn, born August 28, 1927 in Glen Cove, Texas to Frank and Kate Laws, passed away June 4, 2015. Carol married Neal Nalley March 7, 1945 in Reno, Nevada while working in the Naval yard in San Diego while Neal was in the Navy. She worked as a courier for a naval officer until W.W. II, and then moved to San Angelo, Texas to become full-time Mother to 4 children. She started the first Kindergarten class at Lake View Baptist Church where she served many years as teacher and choir member. From 1962 to 1966 she worked for Baptist Memorial Geriatric Hospital. In 1967 she moved to Kansas City, where she worked for Russell Stover, the US Post Office and in 1968 she began her training to become a LPN; finishing at age 50. In 1972, she moved back to Texas and in 1977, married Loftin Linn, who died in 1984. In 1996, Carol moved to Kerrville where she was active in her church and got serious about crafting-a love she had to the end of her life. In 2006, she moved to San Antonio where she had the chance to spend lots of time crafting for her many greatly loved children and "Grands-Great-grands". Carol was a Christian who looked forward to being with her Savior and the many loved-ones who'd gone before. She will be greatly missed-but we now share her love of Jesus; we have the same glorious hope to which she is now participating!!! Carol is preceded in death by her siblings, Wilma Scott, Grady Laws, Dorothy Kinsey, Clinton Laws and sons, Ralph Nalley and Grady Nalley. She is survived by children Anita Corley and Thomas Nalley, daughter-in-laws, Karen Ivy and Libby Pairris, brother, James Larry Laws, many precious Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews all cherished by Grandma Carol or more lovely called G.G. Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Glen Cove Cemetery, Coleman, Texas.
