Carlos Sotomayor

March 5, 1953 — December 25, 2013

Carlos E. Sotomayor, born on March 5, 1953, passed away on December 25, 2013, at the age of 60. Carlos Sotomayor was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend to all of us. He was born in Mendoza, Argentina, his career was as a General Manager in the restaurant industry and he resided in San Antonio over the last 12 years. Carlos loved soccer, being on the beach and spending time with his family. Aida and Carlos were married for 42 years and have 3 children, Carlos, Alexandra and Pablo. He always said his biggest accomplishment in life was the united family he has. We will miss him tremendously and the love he gave us will forever be in our hearts. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, from 12:00PM until 2:00PM, with a rosary and a Celebration of Carlos' Life to begin at 1:00PM. All services will conclude in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
