Carl Christopherson

January 28, 1932 — April 28, 2021

Carl D. Christopherson was born to Carl and Elsa Christopherson on January 28, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois. At the age of 5, he moved with his parents to Minnesota where he lived until entering the United States Air Force in 1950.

Chris, as he was known to family and friends, retired from the United States Air Force as a CMSgt. After his military career, he was Golf Course Superintendent at Woodlake Country Club for 11 years.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Winnie; son, Stephen; daughter, Donna; grandson, Collin (Lindsay); 3 great grandchildren, Finnegan, Arlington and Leif; as well as dear friend, Terri Hardie.

A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at 10:45 AM, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
