Obituary Dominic Vincent Luster Dominic Vincent Luster went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2010 at the age of 26. He was born on October 20, 1983, at Fort Rucker, Alabama, and as the son of military parents, he lived in many different places as a child. Dominic enjoyed the opportunity to live in and experience different parts of the country but was fond of calling Georgia his home. He graduated from high school in 2001 and thereupon began his undergraduate career at Southern University, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dominic graduated from Southern University in May 2005 with a degree in Psychology. He was commissioned in 2005 from the U.S. Air Force R.O.T.C. program at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. During his five years of active military service, he obtained a Masters degree in Human Resource Management, and served two six month tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was scheduled to deploy again in December of this year. Dominic was currently serving in the rank of Captain, as a personnel officer at Randolph Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Dominic was looking forward to a successful military career with the United States Air Force. He loved automobiles, motorcycles, traveling, listening to good music, and eating. Dominic especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He spent his off duty time pursuing a second masters degree in Hospital and Health Administration, with plans to graduate December 2010. Dominic is survived by his wife Josheika Luster, currently expecting a child; his son Colby Dominc Luster; mother Yolanda Black Luster; father Cecil Luster; maternal grandparents Rayfield and Rose Black; paternal grandparents Colonel (Retired) Albert and Lillie Luster; and brother, Antyone Robertson. He leaves behind many uncles, aunts, cousins, and multitudes of friends. To show his dedication and unwavering love for his family, Dominic donned a tattoo that read La Familia . The wake will be held on Thursday, May 6th, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 7th, at Randolph Air Force Base, Chapel # 1 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow with full military honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
