Bryan Brummett

Bryan S. Brummett , 48, of Schertz , Texas, passed away on May 1, 2018, at Northeast Methodist Hospital with his family by his side. Born on May 13, 1969, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of Jackie and Clifford Brummett and graduated in 1988 from Samuel Clemens High School. He and his wife of 20 years, Zelda, resided in Schertz since marrying in 1998 and raised five magnificent children. Bryan treasured the outdoors and spent considerable time at Canyon Lake and Port Aransas , in and on the water, and was an avid camper. He was also a meticulous organizer and was known for his impeccable garage and workspaces. Above all, Bryan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who cherished his family. Bryan leaves behind his wife, Zelda Brummett , his mother Jackie Brummett , his brother Clifford Brummett Jr., his children Kirstina Tomerlin and husband Clay, Leticia Martinez and husband Jonathan, Larissa Faery and partner Michael, Christopher Brummett , and Quincie Brummett ; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Cheyenne, Sarita , Clementine, Alicia, and Esmerelda . He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Brummett Sr, of Cincinnati, Ohio. Bryan also leaves behind his large extended family, many friends, and co-workers who will miss him profoundly. His family will welcome friends and family from 3:00-4:00PM on Saturday, May 12, 2018, with a Memorial Service beginning at 4:00PM at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel, at 2217 FM 3009 Schertz , Texas, 78154.
