Bruce Anthony Stokely, age 50, was unexpectedly called home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas.
Although Bruce was born on February 24, 1965 in Sacramento, California, he called Kailua, Hawaii home until he joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 17. His decorations include the National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars, Kuwait Liberation Medal, and a Navy Achievement Medal.
Bruce demonstrated kindness, compassion and heart in everything he did. While his first love was always his family, he was also passionate about riding his Harley Davidson, cooking (especially his Hawaiian favorites), working around the house, and tirelessly working to build an honorable business that strived to help others.
He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Morrison-Stokely; father and step-mother, Anthony and Sheryl Stokely; brother, Steven Stokely; sisters, Jullie Stokely and Susan Nobles; children, Steven Arthur Balbin and wife Melissa, April Gomez and husband Michael, Kristopher Stokely and wife Noelea, and Jonathan Stokely; grandchildren, Aleksandar, Naomi and Philip Stokely; nephews, Andrew, Josh and Timothy Stokely and Kenny Nobles; nieces, Donna Roberts and Genevieve Stokely.
