Bridgette M. Meyer, age 89 of Universal City, passed away on January 5, 2011. She is survived by her sons, Thomas W. Meyer of Albuquerque, Walter J. Meyer Jr. & wife, Leleo and Fredrick M. Meyer & wife, Katie Meyer of Roseville, CA; daughter, Barbara Alewel & husband, John H. Alewel Sr.; grandchildren, Jack Kortkamp, Wesley T. Meyer & wife, Charlotte of San Francisco, Thomas W. Meyer Jr. of Albuquerque, JD Meyer of Austin, Luika (Meyer) Rich of Austin, Lanea Meyer of San Marcos, John H. Alewel Jr., Patrick Shawn Alewel, Sabrina Lynn (Alewel) Gonzalez; great-grandchildren, Ashley Skylar Kortkamp, Bayley J. Schiller, Alexandrea Alewel and Ariana Gonzalez and her twin sister, Mary Mallinger of St. Paul, MN. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
