MSgt Branch "Robby" Robinson, USAF (Ret.) beloved husband and father, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 20, 2014 after a hard fought battle with cancer and ensuing complications. He was born in Jemison, Alabama on April 11, 1935. A hard working man, he proudly served his country in the USAF for 22 years. Upon retirement in 1977 he worked 28 years for LSI at Randolph AFB, and also worked several part-time jobs during those 50 years. After retiring he loved to work in his garden and spending time with family. He loved and was dearly loved by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Pauline Robinson; brothers, Charles, Ralph and Sammie, and mother-in-law Neva Campbell. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Shirley; his son, Alan and wife, Susan; daughter, Angela; sisters, Libby McKee and Sarah Hartin, and brothers, Lamar and Chester, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 9:00PM on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Funeral Service will begin at 10:00AM, Friday, July 25, 2014 at Schertz Funeral Home with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
