Brad Capoldi

Brad (Michael) Capoldi passed away December 16, 2009. Brad was 16 years old and a junior at New Braunfels Canyon High School. He was born on January 22, 1993 in El Paso, Texas where he will be laid to rest. Brad loved music and had a strong interest in old classic cars. He was taking auto mechanics courses in high school in anticipation of hoping to buy and fix some classic cars when he grew up. Brad loved to play practical jokes and pranks on others and his playful nature always cheered those who knew him well. He is survived by his father, Ruben Gonzales and surrogate parents Nicolas and Juanita Torres who raised him from infancy. He has two brothers, Gilbert Gonzales and Adrian Torres and four sisters, Monica Gonzales, Valerie Brandon, Bonnie Blalock, and Yvette Hauxwell. He is also survived by his grandmothers Loretto Gonzales and Teresa Torres in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins including his best friend/cousin Dominique. Memorial services will be held on December 20 at Mt. Carmel Funeral Home, 1755 N. Zaragosa, El Paso, Texas with viewing from 5 to 9 pm and a rosary service at 7 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on December 21 at 9 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by internment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 10:30 am.
