Billy Treadwell

Billy Ray Treadwell passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the age of 86. He was born in Wilson County to Albert Jacob Treadwell and Mary Edna Carver on October 31, 1932. Billy is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jack Treadwell and Bud Treadwell; two sisters, Deloris Treadwell Godfrey and Violet Treadwell Beasley. As a young man, Billy chose to serve his country through the United States Army. He proudly served, attaining the rank of Corporal. Billy went on to establish his own car dealership business known as Treadwell Motors on Broadway in San Antonio. His slogan was "Trade Well with Treadwell". He remained self-employed for decades in his car business that spanned from San Antonio to Laredo. Billy was a unique character. He was charming with a great sense of humor and quick wit. Billy will be missed. Special thank you to the nurses and staff at Frank M. Tejeda Veterans Home in Floresville, TX for their kindness and compassion.

A Visitation will be held on December 18, 2018 at 2:00PM with a Memorial Service to begin at 3:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home.
