Billie Featherstone

Billie Jo Featherstone, 83, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Poteet Manor in Poteet, Texas after a short illness. Billie Jo as her family and friends called her was born August 1, 1934 in Choate, Texas. She attended High School in Nordheim, Texas. Billie Jo was married to Charles L. Featherstone for 22 years before his passing in 1993. Billie Jo worked as an aircraft mechanic for over 20 years at Kelly AFB. She enjoyed doing puzzles, playing solitaire and listening to gospel music. She was also an avid Spurs Fan, never missing a chance to watch them play. She also enjoyed her family and the time she had with them.

Billie Jo is preceded in death boy her husband, Charles L. Featherstone, her mother, Irene Stuart, her father Floyd Stuart, her sister, Verna Mae Pargmann and her grandson, Bradley Wright.

Billie Jo is survived by her three sons, James Wright, John Wright (Cher) and Stephen Wright (Debbie), her 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10:00AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to the American Cancer Society in Billie Jo's Memory.
