Beulah "Betty" Dominguez, born on April 6, 1938, in Camden, New Jersey, passed away on January 3, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 82. Betty was born to Horace and Emma Bishop and was nine of ten children. On January 30, 1960, she married the love of her life, Ralph Logan Dominguez. They had four children and were married for 38 years. In 1966, they moved to Arizona where they lived for 34 years.
Betty owned her daycare and worked in childcare all of her working life. She never lost her passion and love for children. When Betty retired in the year 2000, she moved to Texas to live with her daughter and family where she continued to care for children. Betty loved baking cakes and pies for special occasions and birthdays. She also enjoyed crocheting and would make blankets for friends. Not only did she make blankets, but she also made hats and scarves for the homeless and layettes for babies. She would gift virtual strangers she encountered in her travels with homemade gifts that she made with love and kindness. Betty enjoyed traveling to see her sister and family in New Jersey. She also enjoyed girls casino trips to gamble with her daughters; especially when she won.
She is preceded in death by her husband , Ralph Logan Dominguez and her eldest son, Kevin. Betty is survived by her sister, Peggy Haney; daughter, Jennifer Laurence and husband Brian; grandson, Ben; son's, Todd and Brad. She also left behind in Arizona grandchildren, Tiffany and Karl and many In-laws, nieces and nephews. She made numerous friends in Texas who became family and miss her dearly.
