Beuford Gibson

October 22, 1922 — July 23, 2015

Beuford H. Gibson, born in Grandview, TN, on October 22, 1922, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015, in Schertz, TX at the age of 92. Beuford served in the US Marine Corps during the WWII, Korean, and Vietnam wars. He retired from the USMC with the rank of Master Sergeant and was one of the last remaining enlisted pilots. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Margaret Gibson, and his son Beuford Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Lilley, Carmen Finley Gibson whom he spent the last 39 years with, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren throughout Tennessee, California, and Texas. The family would like to sincerely thank Caring Senior Service of New Braunfels and Hospice for all their care and support during the last few months of Beuford's life. A Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 2:00PM - 6:00PM at the Schertz Funeral Home.
