Betty Jean (Bradley) Tolsma, age 79 of Schertz, passed away on May 16, 2010. Betty was born to Ralph and Edna Mae (Long) Bradley on March 1, 1931. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Simon Tolsma and her brother Billy Joe Bradley. Betty Jean is survived by her children, Charles Bradley Tolsma, Carey Suzanne (Tolsma) Ray & husband, Jefferey Wayne , Jaan Elizabeth Tolsma, and William Andrew Tolsma; daughter-in-law, Kristina Ann (Siulte) Tolsma; grandchildren, Peyton Amanda (Ray) Lauderdale & husband, Justin, Margaret Roxanne Ray, James Spencer Ray, Dillon Andrew Tolsma, Alexandra Ann Tolsma, Claire Anna Tolsma and great-grandchild, Olivia Grace Lauderdale; first-cousin, John A. Morrison & wife, Sue and sister-in-law, Betty Belle Mahanay. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Schertz Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
