Berniece Balcer

August 29, 1913 — March 27, 2008

Berniece R. Balcer of San Antonio was born on August 29, 1913 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at the age of 94 years. Mrs. Balcer was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 39 years, Victor Balcer. She is survived by her two sons, Harvey and his wife Janice of Cibolo, TX, and Dennis Balcer of Waterford, MI; five grandchildren, Suzanne, David, Michael, Anne, and Jeannette; and by twenty-one great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Sunday, March 30, 2008 from 5-9 pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 1065 Live Oak Rd., on Monday morning beginning at 11 am. Interment will be held at a later date in Bay City, MI.
