Ben Arthur Dodd, born on July 17, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on June 15, 2015, in Cibolo, Texas, at the age of 64. Ben is preceded in death by his father, Claude Coleman Dodd. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Karen Dodd of Cibolo, Texas; son, Luke and wife Ann of California; daughters, Amy and husband Jeff, Melissa and husband Ted, and Laura and husband Chris, all from Oklahoma; step-daughters, Kelly and husband Chris of Alabama, Monica and husband Kyle of Texas, and Marni and husband Gary of Texas; grandchildren, Jameson, Elizabeth, Emily, and Malachi of Oklahoma, Aidan, Colin, and Riley of California, Makayla, Garrett, and Jace of Oklahoma, Isabella, Caleigh, Emma, and Crosby of Oklahoma, Kyle and Katelyn of Alabama, Taylor, Tucker, Sam, and Abigail of Texas, and Trip and Grace of Texas; mother, Myrtle M. Dodd; and brother, Steve Dodd of Texas. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 18, 2015, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015, at 10:00 AM, at the First Baptist Church Universal City, Pastor David Lindow officiating. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
