Barry Day

Barry Day was born on August 22, 1957 in Le Mars, Iowa to parents Raymond and Delores Day. He passed away on July 4, 2019 in Live Oak, Texas.
Barry was an avid lover of the arts and theatre. He was a daily reader of mystery novels. Loved politics and keeping up with the news. He is now with his beloved fur babies, which he spoiled, Maddison and Baby. His happiness was evident around his many friends, and his joking personality was infectious. The world has lost a blessing of humanity.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Delores (Steinfadt) Day of Le Mars, Iowa; brother, Tim Day; and granddaughter Kanya Yeoman. He was survived by his husband, Rodney Michalek of Cibolo, Texas; children, Crystal Yoeman with husband Kenny of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Adam Day of Canyon Lake, Texas, Alicia Day with husband Matt Bostick of Tacoma, Washington and Christopher Day of Marion, Texas; grandchildren, Josh Jones with wife Cynthia, Kevin Yeoman with wife Amanda, Kenny Yeoman Jr., Kandice Yeoman, Katelynn Yeoman, Krista Yeoman, Kurtis Yeoman, Cheyenne Day, Jacob Day, Ariza Day, Malorie Day, Adian Day, Alexis Day, Celeste Smith with husband Wesley, Nathaniel Bostick, Chymaera Bostick, Isabella Bostick and Robert Bostick; 16 great grandchildren; and brothers, Mike Day of California, Don Day of New Mexico, Tom Day of New Mexico and brother-in-law, Mark Michalek with wife Tricia of Cibolo, Texas.
A private Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
