Barbara Jeanne Luthy

(Née Harrison), known affectionately as BJ, passed away on September 24, 2024, in San Antonio, TX, at the age of 77. Born on November 24, 1946, in Hominy, Oklahoma, she spent the majority of her illustrious career in San Antonio, where she was a beloved beautician for over fifty years. BJ was a spirited individual who cherished her time reading and was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys. Her hobbies reflected her enthusiastic and vibrant personality, bringing joy not only to herself but also to those around her. BJ is survived by her daughter, Lori Arce (Martin), her brother, Dan Harrison (Judy) of San Antonio, and her sisters, Nancy Saylor of Austin and Paula Coleman (Paul) of Corpus Christi, and Brother in law Roger Haggy. She will also be fondly remembered by her granddaughters, Susan Brown, Miranda Perez, and Dominique Arce., great Great grandchildren Alira and Avian. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Elsie Harrison; her beloved son, Kenny Boyce; her sister, Jennifer Haggy; and her spouse, Richard Luthy. BJ's life was marked by her dedication to her family, her passion for her career, and her love for her hobbies. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her and were touched by her kindness sense of humor, and spirited zest for life.
