Barbara Kennedy

Barbara Ann Kennedy went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the age of 72.

She was born on September 30, 1945 to Samuel E. Jones and Gladys Jones in New Braunfels, Texas.

Barbara worked throughout her life serving the people in her community in various retail roles. Her most recent position was a beauty consultant for Walgreens where she was known and loved by countless customers.

She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel E. and Gladys Jones; her son, Keith Allen Reiser; her brother and sister-in-law Donald and Joyce Jones.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert T. Kennedy Jr.; daughter, Lisa Warner and husband Randy; son, Carl E. Reiser and wife Sherry; step-sons, Anthony Kennedy, Robert T. Kennedy III and wife Tracy, Christopher Kennedy; grandchildren, Brandon Lee Brannan, Samantha Warner, Tanner Warner, Carl E. Reiser Jr., Darcy Reiser, Amy Westfall, Karla Kennedy, Robert T. Kennedy IV, Nicholas Kennedy and Courtney Kennedy; her sisters, Mary Sportsman and husband Tex, Beverly Maxwell and husband Hal; three nieces and two nephews, 10 great nieces and nephews, four great-grandchildren. Her family and their happiness was her greatest joy.

A visitation will be Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 3:00PM-7:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 10:00AM at The Country Church in Marion, Texas, with interment to follow at the Seiler Family Cemetery in Schertz, Texas.
