Annette Box passed away peacefully on September 4, 2020 in San Antonio, TX. She resided in Schertz, TX for more than 10 years but her home was in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 30 years. She loved the mountains, the green salsa, and everything about her life in Albuquerque. Annette never knew a stranger, had an infectious laugh and her very own sense of humor. She loved being the favorite Aunt to her nieces and nephews; Kristi, Rebekah, Dev, Chad, and Stephen! Her children were her fur babies, Sammie, Demi, and Gigi. During the last 9 months she was overjoyed to know that her “babies” had found a new home with her sister Linda. Annette was preceded in death by her father Joe Box, her mother Barbara Box, and her sister Amy. She is survived by her sister Linda, her brother Joe, his wife Debbie, nieces, nephews, cousins, many relatives, and many very close friends. The family would like to especially thank all the nurses, therapists, and physicians that cared for Annette since last November of 2019. Especially the staff at the Waterford Apartments, Stone Oak Care Center, Davita Kidney Center and Stone Oak Methodist Hospital. Also, much gratitude to Heard and Smith LLP for all their love and support. Last but not least a huge thank you to all her “sisters” and “work family’ that loved and supported her during this ordeal.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 26, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Schertz Funeral Home.
