Aurelio Guerra, Jr.

October 20, 1934 — July 10, 2013

Aurelio M. Guerra Jr. was called by his Lord to his final resting place on July 10, 2013. He was surrounded by his loving wife of 52 years, Angelita, daughter Suzanne Wayt, Son-in-Law, Rick Wayt, and his grandsons, Ben and Aaron. He was also survived by his sisters, Mary Ellen and Margie Guerra, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a hard worker with an outstanding work ethic. He served in the US Army as a paratrooper and later became an aircraft parts inspector at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. Once he retired from Civil Service, he worked at Randolph Field Independent School District up until the time of his death. He was also an avid sports fan who loved boxing, the Dallas Cowboys, and the San Antonio Spurs. A Rosary, Mass, and Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. The church is located at 1065 E. Live Oak Rd. in Schertz, TX.
