Ashlyn Duncan

Ashlyn Ann Duncan, age 25 of Cibolo, TX, passed away on March 19, 2019 in St. Augustine, FL. She was born September 26, 1993 at the United States Air Force Academy, in Colorado Springs, CO. She graduated from Admiral Aurther M. Raddford High School in Hawaii. She was also a recent graduate Brightwood College of San Antonio, TX receiving her Associate of Applied Science Medical Assistant degree in her pursuit to become a nurse. Ashlyn always had a smile on her face and a sweet spirit. She was loving and kind to everyone. As a military child she lived in Colorado, North Carolina, Germany, Hawaii and Texas. She made many friends everywhere she went and was loved by all who met her. The world will shine less bright without her in it. Heaven has gained a new shining Angle. She is survived by her parents Timothy and Mary Duncan; siblings Christian, Cailtlin and Aaron Duncan. Paternal grandmother Treva Duncan, Paternal grandparent Yolanda Placencio and Joshua Grinie, Auncle Ali Shabani; Aunt Mamie Shabani; Aunts Lynn Romero and Ediejo Placencio; Great Aunt and Uncle Sandy and Dave Tulley, Aunt Hope Rodarte and numerous cousins. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 12:00noon, with the funeral service to follow at 1:00pm at the Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 F.M. 3009, Schertz Texas. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd, San Antonio, TX 78266
