Arthur Teske

March 10, 1924 — October 23, 2012

Arthur R. Teske was born March 10, 1924 in Milwaukee, WI, passed away on October 23, 2012 in Seguin, TX at the age of 88. Art was preceded in death by his wife Marguerite R. Teske and son Thomas C. Teske. Survived by daughter Judith T. Barnes (Thomas); grandchildren Amy M. Franklin (Jesse), John T. Teske (Lisa), Jeffrey S. Teske (Jo Ann), and Jill R. Porter (Matthew); 7 great- grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews in Wisconsin and Florida, and other loving family members. Art served in the United States Army at Iwo Jima during World War II. He was an avid Green Bay Packer and University of Wisconsin fan. Arthur worked many years for Joseph Schlitz Brewery and eventually owned his own beer distributorship in Texas. The family would like to give a special thanks to Laura L. Sanchez for the care and love she has given to Art and his family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Schertz Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 29, 2012, 1:00pm at Triumphant Lutheran Church, 21315 Bat Cave Rd, Garden Ridge, TX 78266. In lieu of flowers family would like donations to be made to the Alzheimers Association or Triumphant Lutheran Church.
